Jason Rideout, CPA, CA, TEP

Jason is the owner of ANR. His specialization is Tax.  To most, it sounds like a scary position to be in, but Jason loves it (which is a bonus for our clients!). Jason’s knowledge background includes obtaining his CA designation in 2005, completing the CICA In-Depth Tax Program, and obtaining his Trust and Estate Practitioner designation (TEP) in 2012. Along with his 23 years of public practice experience, he loves working with owner-managed businesses, start-up entrepreneurs and individuals on a daily basis.

He specializes in tax advisory for small business (click here to learn more). You also need to know that Jason has a passion for working with business owners to minimize their tax, maximize their value and ensure that their future is planned for. As Jason explains, “We are hear to listen to our clients first.  By listening, it allows us to service them with the right solution and advice.” Jason’s skill set is extremely unique for a small practice like ANR. “I am always ready to assist my clients and drawing from my knowledge, skills and experience, provide a knowledgeable solution that will assist them in being Successful.

Jason also offers the Executor & Estate Service Advosory at ANR. In this exciting opportunity for our current clients and future clients, Jason will work with individuals and business owners to build a successful Estate Plan, from start to finish. Jason is also able to take on the role of Executor for your estate should the situation arise that you do not have an Executor or require a professional skill set to assist in being a Co-Executor with a family member. Being an Executor is a huge responsibility and typically it’s a stressful time, so why try to do it yourself?

Jason believes that it is important to be involved in the community in which you live and he has served on various committees and organizational boards. He has been involved with the St. Stephen Area Chamber of Commerce since 2010, and continues to serve as Past President of the Chamber. Jason was recently awarded the Chamber’s Business Leader of the Year.

Jason resides in Old Ridge, NB with his wife, Barb and their two daughters, Claire and Regan.

Vicki Legacy, CPA

Vicki Legacy is a Senior Advisor at ANR, where she provides consulting services and financial statement preparation for small businesses and non-profit organizations.

Vicki joined ANR full-time in May 2016 after earning her Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John. She subsequently completed the CPA Professional Education Program and successfully passed the Common Final Examination (CFE) in September 2018 to obtain her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

Vicki resides in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, with her partner, Jamon. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with their two children, Sophia and Eli.

Kayla Leslie, CPA

Kayla was born and raised in St. Stephen. She graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2009 and knew she wanted to pursue a career in Accounting. She continued on to take Business Administration at UNB Fredericton, where she graduated with honours in Accounting in 2013.

After University, Kayla began working as an analyst for an international corporation out of Saint John. Two years later she decided to move back to her hometown and join on as accountant for a large local business where she gained valuable experience in industry accounting. She graduated from the CPA Atlantic School of Business program and obtained her CPA designation in the summer of 2018. In January 2019, she was pleased to join the ANR team and further her knowledge in the accounting profession.

Kayla has a strong connection with the community of St. Stephen, having lived here her whole life, and currently volunteers as treasurer for the board of The Chocolate Museum. She currently resides in the area with her husband Branden.

Ashley Parker, CETA

After growing up in New Brunswick’s capital city of Fredericton, Ashley first moved to Charlotte County to study International Business and Latin American Studies and Trade at the New Brunswick Community College in St. Andrews. Following graduation and after a few years of travelling and working abroad, Ashley and her husband chose to live in his hometown of St. Stephen, where they still live with their two children.

Ashley worked in the mortgage and finance industry for ten years before joining ANR Accountants in 2019. In June of 2022, she completed the CETA – Certificate of Estate and Trust Administration course through STEP Canada. Ashley enjoys working with the estate and tax planning side of accounting.

Outside of ANR , Ashley and her husband, Kirk, own and operate Top Shelf Cabinets. She currently sits on the board of directors for the Business Improvement Area. As well, she is the Treasurer for the St Stephen Home and School Association.

Brandon Parks

Born and raised in St. Stephen, Brandon graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2014. In the fall of 2014 Brandon enrolled in the Business Administration Accounting program at NBCC Fredericton, graduating with honours after completing summer employment and a workplace practicum with ANR. From the beginning, Brandon recognized ANR as a team of fun, kind, and knowledgeable professionals, and he was eager to learn and grow with them.

Now an Advisor, Brandon works closely with clients to assist with their bookkeeping software and provides support through the preparation of corporate tax returns and year end engagements. His approachable manner and strong technical skills continue to make him a valued member of the ANR team.

Melida Cote

Originally from Nicaragua, Melida moved to Canada to pursue new opportunities and have proudly made St. Stephen her home. She began her professional journey with ANR as a staff accountant and has since advanced into an Advisor role, focusing on year-end financial statements and corporate tax filings.

She holds a diploma in Business Administration – Accounting from NBCC and is currently working toward completing her bachelor’s degree, with the goal of obtaining her CPA designation.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Melida is committed to making accounting approachable and ensuring ANR clients feel supported and confident in their financial decisions.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and son and values a balanced family focused life.

Tammy Williams

Tammy was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, moved to St. Stephen in 1983 and proudly graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1990.  After completing her post-secondary education in Fredericton, she began her accounting career in 1992 with Mark H. Porter Professional Corporation, where she worked for 25 years.  During that time, she gained extensive experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and client support across a variety of sectors.

In addition to her professional work, she’s also involved in bookkeeping for her family’s business, Olde Carr Auto, deepening her practical understanding of small business operations and financial management.

In 2019, she joined ANR, where she continues to provide reliable and detail-oriented accounting services.  With over 30 years of hands-on experience, I remain committed to helping clients stay financially organized, compliant, and informed.

My roots in the community and long-standing career in accounting have shaped a work ethic built on trust, accuracy and personalized service.

Katherine Mills

Katherine Mills was born and raised in St. Stephen, New Brunswick and has worked in office administration since 1996. She built a strong background in administrative and management roles with organizations such as Tabufile Atlantic, Scholten’s Landscape Ltd., St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, Atlantic Windoor and FCC Construction (a division of the OSCO Group).
After returning to St. Stephen in 2009, Katherine earned her REALTOR® license in 2012 with Exit Realty Charlotte County and co-owned Pita Pit in downtown St. Stephen until its sale in 2024. She joined Archambault, Neathway & Rideout as Office Administrator in January 2015.
Katherine is the proud mother of four and an active community volunteer, serving as past chair of Women in Business Charlotte County, a board member of the Business Improvement Area, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce Events & Promotions Committee.

Tammy McLaughlin

Tammy was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick and raised Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick from the age of 7. After graduating from Fundy High School in 1991, she worked for Connors Bros. until 1999.  She went back to school at NBCC – Saint John and graduated with a diploma and honors in Office Technology in 2000. She worked for several years at David A. Bartlett Professional Corporation as a Legal Assistant. In 2012, her husband started his own Electrical company, and she took on the role of Treasurer and Bookkeeper for the company.  In 2017, she worked at the Family Resource Centre of Charlotte County as Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper.

Tammy lives in Bayside, New Brunswick with her loving husband, Kevin.  She is a mother of a wonderful and loving daughter and 2 wonderful granddaughters, ages 9 and 2.  She loves spending as much time with them as she can.  She is currently taking Tap lessons with her daughter and is enjoying every moment.

In June of 2022 Tammy accepted the position of Front Desk Administrator for ANR. For Tammy, she loves helping people in any way she can.  Working for an organization that has the knowledge to help individuals and businesses become successful is very rewarding.  The staff at ANR are so approachable and friendly.  As a member of the ANR team, Tammy looks forward to greeting and serving the ANR clients for many years to come.

Sean Armstrong

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Sean moved to St. Stephen with his wife Nicole, and daughter Kaylee, in 2019. He is an Analyst at ANR, specializing in bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns, and year-end financials. Before joining ANR, Sean gained experience at the Bank of Nova Scotia, building a strong foundation in finance.

Sean studied Math and Statistics at the University of Windsor and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and values accuracy in all aspects of his work.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his daughter play softball. Sean also has a passion for tracking baseball and weather statistics and listening to a wide variety of music.
